RESIDENTIAL RENEWABLE ENERGY REBATES

Black Hills Energy currently offers $2.50 per DC Watt installed for systems under 10KW. Over 10KW the rebate structure pays $50 per MW-hr of production, and a $2.00 per watt rebate for the term of 20 years.

Xcel Energy currently offers $2.70 per DC Watt installed for systems under 10KW. Over 10KW the rebate structure pays $65 per MW-hr of production, and a$2.00 per watt rebate for the term of 20 years.

Any territories that currently offer no incentive in Colorado are eligible for a GEO (Governors Energy Office) grant of $1.50/watt for the first 3KW for residences and $1.50/watt for the first 10KW for commercial projects. HURRY! THESE REBATES ARE RUNNING OUT SOON!

RESIDENTIAL RENEWABLE ENERGY TAX CREDITS

Consumers who install solar energy systems (including solar water heating and solar electric systems), small wind systems, geothermal heat pumps, and residential fuel cell and microturbine systems can receive a 30% tax credit for systems placed in service before December 31, 2016; the previous tax credit cap no longer applies.
